Production Scheduler
Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Job Description:
- Review weekly master production schedule and breakdown the schedule into daily bucket
- Ensure that daily production plan has considered existing constraints and available resources to fulfill product requirement, including the ‘what-if’ analysis
- Manage daily production and capacity plans and work with related internal team for medium term planning
- Review Production Rules and Planning rates
- Optimize Production Scheduling with set production and FG Inventory policies to minimize production cost
- Analyze and determine the optimal production sequence, with the aim to maximize line utilization
- Publish daily production schedule to Manufacturing team
- Work closely with production manager to make sure production schedule is executed as planned
- Supporting on new product development production schedule and trial and liaise with internal team
- Partner with National Material Planning team to ensure open communication regarding raw material needs and shortages
- Operation Packaging Materials Planning (Short term call ups), Management of Direct Material Supplier Service Levels
- Review materials requirement to meet the production schedule
- Build relationships with Local Suppliers to optimize supply and manage customer service
- Daily monitoring of production output, against stock levels, Customer demand and production schedules.
- Review production schedule conformance (MIFOT) on daily and weekly base
- Produce production summary report (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
- Identify area for improvement, develop improvement program and monitor the implementation to increase process efficiency, cost effectiveness, or increase productivity.
- Prepare, monitor, control the annual department budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the Business Plan
- Take responsibility for providing and managing a work environment that is safe and without risk to health by ensuring OHS policy, plans, procedures, induction, training and work instructions are followed. Ensure that hazard management including identification, assessment and control are undertaken.
Minimal bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial is prefered), Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Math, or comparable academic discipline required
Professional Experience:
- Minimal 2 years of experience in production planning background area
- Experience in mathematics, statistical forecast modeling, operations research, or marketing.
- Prefer from FMCG company
